Pre-treatment Care Instructions
Before your treatment, please follow these instructions to maximize the results of the treatment:
- Avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours before treatment.
- Don’t take any blood thinning medications (NSAIDs), like aspirin or ibuprofen, for at least 48 hours before treatment.
- Avoid smoking for 24 hours before treatment. Smoking can affect the circulation and slow down the healing process.
- Keep the treatment area clean and free of any topical products.
Post-treatment Care Instructions
After your treatment, it is important to follow these tips to facilitate a quick recovery and minimize complications:
- Apply ice or a cold compress to the treated area for 15 to 20 minutes immediately after treatment to reduce swelling.
- Don’t touch, rub, or massage the treated area for 24 hours after treatment.
- Don’t do strenuous exercise or physical activity for 24 hours after treatment.
- Avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours after treatment.
- Don’t take any blood thinning medications, like aspirin or ibuprofen, for at least 48 hours after treatment.
- Avoid direct sunlight or heat for 24 hours after treatment.
